Start-UP Entrepreneurship Program - “Financial Management” & “My story as an entrepreneur”

Join us on 16th of May, at 6 PM, for the 7th Scale-Up workshop, part of the Entrepreneurship Program lead by Mrs. Georgiana Cristea. We will discuss about “Financial Management” with Mrs. Mioara Popescu and about “My story as an entrepreneur” with Mrs. Selena Stan.

Mioara Popescu has almost 39 years of professional experience and over 28 years in banking. She advanced into leadership roles since 1997, culminating in serving as CEO for seven years and as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Currently as independent member of Supervisory Board of the first Romanian Development Bank she is involved in volunteering areas also, as she is PWN Romania’s VP Financial.

With over 15 years of experience in consulting law with focus on mergers and acquisitions, Selena Stan started her career in an international law firm and then became an in-house lawyer and personal shareholders’ consultant, until she became the co-founder of her own law firm - FIDASmart.

Selena studied also Financial management at London Business School and has been involved in recent years in related fields such as: business consulting and private equity investment consulting.

Together with the co-founding partner of FIDASmart, Florin Dobre, Selena founded two other companies: FIDASoft (a Romanian company active in the field of Legal Tech) and FIDASwiss (a Swiss company offering international legal strategy services).

Selena is also a member in the board of some IT and investment companies in Romania and abroad. She is also a member in the advisory board of Cambridge School of Bucharest. Starting January 2023 Selena is also the CEE partner for the international investment club:  Women Invest in Tech (WIT Angels Club).
