PWN Romania - Conversations with a Remarkable Woman

We hope that the spring that is knocking on our doors will bring you hope in this challenging year, light in the face of your darkest doubts and joy for a new exciting beginning!

To celebrate what seems now the longest awaited spring, we have prepared for the PWN Romania community a special event, on the 1st of March, from 18.00.

And since we couldn’t celebrate this magnificent spring with just any speaker, we invited a Remarkable Woman to join us. Therefore, our distinguished guest for the evening will be Ambassador Simona-Mirela Miculescu, who kindly accepted our invitation to share some of her amazing diplomatic experiences and answer some of your questions.

H.E. Simona-Mirela Miculescu is currently Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador, Romania’s Permanent Delegate at UNESCO since the beginning of 2021, after ending her term as representative of the UN General Secretary and director of the UN Office in Belgrade. Before this position she was Romania’s permanent representative at the UN. She was the first woman in Romania to be appointed Ambassador. Ambassador Miculescu is recognized as one of the best experts in managing international public relations, having created the first university curriculum on this topic, a study program that is currently used in several university in the country.
