PWN Romania: Evening dedicated to celebrating francophone women

The Romanian Ministry of External Affairs and PWN Romania organize an evening dedicated to celebrating francophone women on March 4, at the Romania Embassy in Paris, on the occasion of "International Women's Day" and as part of the Cinquantenaire de la Francophonie. 

The evening program includes:

Welcoming speech by H.E. Luca Niculescu, Ambassador of Romania to France,

Presentation of the global Professional Women's Network by Virginia Otel, President of the Romanian city network,

Presentation of the “Digital Museum of Remarkable Women” by  Carmen Petcu, Coordinator of this PWN Romania-led project,

Screening of a short video on Alexandrina Cantacuzino, "a real lady of modern Europe" who is now featured in the Museum,

Screening of the “Remarkable Women of Romania” short movie,

Testimonials from several French-speaking women - Doina Lemny, Camelia Leclerco, Mioara Mandea, Daniela Lulache.

Recital by Romanian pianist Axia Marinescu, and

Networking Cocktail
